A Preamble to an Elegy

I wrote something I want to share with you.
It is a series of haikus titled “Elegy”. It comes in thirty short parts, and I will post one per day for the next month.
Consider this an experiment I am conducting to get over my writing/publishing block.
As always, I welcome your comments and suggestions.
The first one comes tomorrow.
